Group headquarters
We are lucky to own our headquarters building. Victory Hall is situated on Whitehough Head Lane, between Chinley and Whitehough. It has accommodation for 15-20 boys to carry out indoor activities or sleep overnight.

Accommodation
Victory Hall stands in its own grounds on the edge of Chinley in a rural setting. The hall will accommodate up to 20 Scouts sleeping or carrying out indoor activities although comfortable room for 12-15 would be ideal. We have the following facilities:

• kitchen - fully equipped with catering facilities for a group
• toilets and washing facilities (no shower or bath facilities)
• drying room - below the main hall and storage room for the equipment of visiting groups
• parking - off road for 4-5 cars
• camping ground space for a group camp

Hiring Victory Hall
You can hire Victory Hall. It is ideal for use as a weekend base to explore the Peak District, whether you are caving, walking, climbing or canoeing. We hire the hall to organisations other than Scouts so please contact us if you are interested. A guide for hire costs for a weekend, or pro rata for a shorter period is available from Ruth Walker, the Caretaker.
