Our Beaver Colony
We have a thriving colony of 20 Beavers which has been established for many years. we run an active outdoor programme to prepare Beavers for their time in Cub Scouts.

Leaders
We have fully trained leaders for our Beaver Colony. Liz Walker and will be happy to give you more information of leader training and experience. In addition there are a number of assistant leaders. You can contact Liz by clicking here. Parents are encouraged to help with week day meetings on a rota basis.

Age Group
6 to 8 years old.

Uniform
We expect all Beavers to wear full official uniform by the time that a boy is invested in to the Beaver Colony. He is given his Group neckerchief on investiture. The uniform is available from Sheffield Scout Shop. Please contact Liz Walker for further information. Click on the uniform below for details of what to wear.

Where we meet/ how to find us
Beavers meet on Thursdays during school term time. Most activities are based at Victory Hall. Contact the Beaver Leader for details.
How to join
We try to accept new members as soon as possible but have to keep numbers to a limit to make sure that the activity programme remains challenging and safe. There is also a waiting list to join.

If you are interested in joining click here to find the form that you need to complete. Offers of help from parents are always welcome and may allow us to take on more boys as a result or widen the range of activities we can offer the boys.
Transferring from another group

We'd love to hear from you if you have moved in to the area. Please contact us and let us know you or your son's details, including his former group. We will try to accommodate you straight away if possible.
