Executive Committee

Introduction
The Executive Committee is made up of parents and friends of Chinley Scouts. We plan to meet on a quarterly basis. Meetings last for approximately 1 1/2 hours and are held on week day evenings. Our main purposes are as follows:

We make sure that there are sufficient funds available for these purposes and arrange a number of supporting social events throughout the year with this in mind.

Membership
Members of the group Executive Committee are elected to serve for one year. The Group Annual General Meeting is held annually in May. We do not restrict membership to parents or to a set period of service but we do welcome new members and aim to receive one new member to the committee each year.
